The pure genius of race car designer
and builder Colin Chapman is highly evident in this Lotus Elite. The truly handsomely styled coupe had precise handling and balance that made it a natural on road courses of the world. In 1959, a Lotus Elite driven by Peter Lumsden won the 1300cc GT class at the Nurburgring 1000km race and the 1500cc class at Lemans all during the owner's annual vacation. The likes of Jim Clark also recorded many victories in Elites.
This particular car was purchased new from Chamberlain in 1959, by Alson Brizard and used as an SCCA race car out of NORCAL Region during the early 1960's. In 2002 and 2003, the car was invited to participate in the Monterey Historic races at Laguna Seca. We have documented ownership history to new. It has been well maintained and still has its original numbers matching motor. The car is completely street legal and could be used for vintage rallies or track competition. It does have some spares including original drivers seat, side windows, and spare set of 48 spoke wire wheels that accompany the purchase. This car is a very early example that is number 1 condition.

This is the nicest example we have seen in a long time. It has been with a single owner for the past 22 years having come from another family member before that. The car has a tan convertible top and the matching color hardtop. It also has a rare rear third seat option just what is needed for a young passenger who would enjoy the ride. The car has been well maintained and still has a functional original Becker Europa radio and tool kit! You won't find a nicer Mercedes 280SL for the asking price anywhere.

Few cars capture the past era of British sports cars like an MGTD with all of it's personality rooted pre-World War II. MG T series cars followed the GI's home where they were used as daily transportation in the most sporting fashion.
This particular MGTD has been the subject of a complete restoration and pashionate care since. It is a matching numbers car with leather interior and canvas top, tonneau and side curtains as they were fitted new. Recently serviced and ready for spirited use, don't miss this superb little car!

1955 was the last year for "T" series MG's. The MG car company only sold 3300+ cars that year not having kept up with the sleek and modernly looking sports cars the likes of Austin Healey, Jaguar XK120, and Triumph TR2. Their styling still showed a vertical radiator and running board vehicle with pontoon type fenders. Jump ahead 50+ years and the rarity is enormously attractive to collectors. This 1955 MGTF also featured the largest displacement motor ever in a "T" series adding to the attraction. This particular example has been nicely restored and been the subject of a full service here in our shop. It has the original numbers matching motor. fog lamps, and canvas top. It drives as new, buy them both!

The MG B roadster was introduced to the world in 1962 as one of the first unibody constructed British sports cars. It had clean attractive styling, nimble handling, and spirited performance all at a conservative price. As the MGB evolved in later years it changed with US requirments for crash protection and air polution controls dictated but it never lost that boyish attraction to sporting drives in the country.
This low mileage example is extremely clean, not rusted, and well maintained. It has an upgraded cloth interior and carpeted trunk. The paint is a high gloss finish nearly blemish free. You will be able to find less expensive MGB's but you won't find a nice one for this price.
